The priority today is to ensure the return of our PoWs and detainees, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an address to the nation.

He said there is some progress here and it has been agreed that the exchange will take place according to the “all for all” principle.

Meanwhile, he says persons captured by the parties before the war should also be repatriated.

“The task now is to ensure the return of not only those whose capturing has been officially confirmed, but also create mechanisms that will eliminate any problems in the future,” PM Pashinyan stated.

The next important issue, he said, is to clarify the fate of the missing. He said more than 600 bodies have been retrieved since the establishment of ceasefire on November 9; about 500 still need to be identified.
