PanARMENIAN.Net – Caretaker Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday, June 24 commented on the snap parliamentary elections held across the country on June 20, saying that a new standard has been set. According to him, the page of electoral fraud is “irreversibly closed”.

Citing the assessment of local and international observers, Pashinyan said the June 20 vote was perhaps the most unpredictable one in the country’s history.

“It is very important that we state our political will and values,” the acting PM told a Cabinet meeting, also noting that the criminal cases initiated on bribery and illegal influence on the will of the voters should be properly investigated.

Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won almost 54% of the vote, while Hayastan () bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured over 21.4% of the ballots. “I Have Honor” bloc too will get seats in the parliament.
