PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Wednesday, October 29 told UK’s Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas Wendy Morton that Azerbaijan has once again renounced its obligations.

Citing the agreement reached in Washington, DC on October 25 to establish a humanitarian ceasefire, the Foreign Minister said Azerbaijan, once again demonstrating its treacherous character, continues to deliberately target the civilian population and infrastructure of Artsakh (Nagorno-), also using internationally prohibited weapons.

The parties exchanged views on the operational situation in the Karabakh conflict zone and the implementation of the ceasefire agreements reached through the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. Both sides stressed the need for the unconditional implementation of the agreements on the immediate cessation of hostilities.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
