PanARMENIAN.Net – President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said the conflict in Karabakh has been “resolved”. In an interview broadcast on state television, Aliyev said there was no need to return to the matter, Interfax reports.
Azerbaijan “has resolved this issue by itself – both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table.”
“If someone thinks that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not been resolved, that’s their problem,” the Azeri President said.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
