YEREVAN, Aug 4 – Sputnik. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan expressed solidarity and support for the people of Lebanon. He wrote about this in his microblog on Twitter.
“Shocked by the news about the explosion in Beirut. I Express my deep condolences to the bereaved families and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” wrote the Prime Minister.

Note that a powerful explosion occurred Tuesday in the seaport area of Beirut in close proximity to the Armenian-populated neighborhoods. According to the latest data, the blast killed 30 people and hundreds were injured.
Among the victims were the Secretary General of the Lebanese party “al-Kataib” Nizar Najarian, who was seriously injured, to save his life, doctors failed. With the explosion in Beirut also damaged the Armenian Church of St. Gevorg.
