Artak Davtyan discussed with the heads of companies prospects of development of unmanned aviation in Armenia

YEREVAN, Aug 4 — Sputnik. The issues of development of unmanned aviation in Armenia were discussed at the meeting, the head of the military-industrial Committee under the Ministry of high-tech industry , the ex-chief of staff of the armed forces, Artak Davtyan with representatives of domestic companies producing UAVs.

As the press service of the Ministry, Davtyan at the meeting presented their point of view about the development of this sector.

In turn, the executives spoke about the ongoing work and shared their ideas on improving the current performance.

The meeting also summed up the results of Armenian use of drones during the recent clashes on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The drones produced in was first used in combat on the Tavush border and, according to the military leadership of the country, showed brilliant results.
