YEREVAN. – Within a week, 10 million drams were collected for the agricultural fair which reopened near the Hrazdan Stadium in Yerevan. The deputy minister of economy of Armenia, Arman Khojoyan, noted about this in a conversation with journalists Saturday.
“With those means, we were able to get tents, tables, scales, provided everyone with badges with the seller’s picture, name and surname, community, province. Also, on the opposite side of the badge—what he sows and what plot of lands he has. We are trying to exclude the entry of resellers to the fair,” he said.
The deputy minister added that this is the second week that the fair has been operating, and there is a lot of activity in the market. “It is very gratifying that the market has received a new life—with all our efforts,” Khojayan said.
