YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. Some 28,796 real estate transactions were completed in Armenia in the second quarter of 2020, which is 38.5% less than in the same period last year, according to the report of the Cadastre Committee of Armenia.
During the reporting period, the largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan – 31.5% of the total, and the smallest – in Vayots Dzor province – 2.4%.
According to the report, 16.3% of the total number of transactions were registered in the Kotayk province, 9.3% in Ararat, 7.8% in Armavir, 6.8% in Lori, 6.6% in Aragatsotn, 6.4% in Gegharkunik, 4.4% in Shirak, 4.3% in Tavush and 4.2% in Syunik.
According to the Cadastre Committee, of the registered real estate transactions, 36% were real estate alienation transactions and 19.8% were transactions on the initial registration of real estate.
In addition, 14% of the total number of transactions registered in Armenia for the specified period were inheritance transactions, 15% were mortgage deals, 7.1% were real estate lease transactions, 8.1% were transactions on other state registrations. -0-
