YEREVAN, 7 August — Sputnik. Passenger traffic at “Zvartnots” airport fell by 98% due to pandemic coronavirus. This was reported on Friday on the airport page in Facebook.

“The pandemic has affected the work of the international airport “Zvartnots”. Our passengers, annually amounting to 3 million passengers, decreased by 98%,” – said in the message.

According to the information that is now at the airport in compliance with all required security requirements: is a measurement of the temperature of passengers, disinfection of cargo and carry-on baggage, provided by social distance.

“We are ready to face all the challenges of a pandemic and are confident that we will overcome it by joint efforts”, – stated in the message.
